Hymn No. 200, Christ the Lord Is Risen Today! -- Heddiw Cododd Crist o'r bedd!

There are several versions of this Easter Hymn in various languages. These three verses match closely enough to the English version in the LDS Hymnal. While there is no "Where o death is now thy sting?" the Welsh does have the classic lines "Fe ysigodd Had y wraig/Uffern ddu a phen y ddraig" meaning "The Seed of the Woman hath crushed black hell and the dragon's head" which carries the same meaning and we must not leave out the word "ddraig!"

"Haleliwia" is to be obviously inserted after every line in the second and third verses as well.

Dydd yr Arglwydd [The Lord's Day]

Heddiw cododd Crist o'r bedd,
    Haleliwia!
Awdwr ein tragwyddol hedd,
    Haleliwia!
  Wedi prynu ar y pren,
    Haleliwia!
  I feddiannu'r nefoedd wen,
    Haleliwia!

Talodd Ef ein dyled fawr,
Rhyddion ydym ninau'n awr;
  Fe ysigodd Had y wraig,
  Uffern ddu a phen y ddraig.

Fe bwrcasodd Iesu mad,
A'i rinweddol aberth rhad,
  Deyrnas nefoedd deg i ni;
  O! mor ddrud ein
      braint a'n bri.
